Match

Adapted from Hans Christian Andersen's classic Christmas story, this is the touching tale of an impoverished young Victorian girl's hopes as she endeavours to sell her bundle of matches on a cold, snowy Christmas Eve. Hungry and desperate to keep warm, she strikes her matches one by one. With each flame the match girl experiences dazzling visions of dancing embers, roasted turkeys, Christmas delights and shooting stars.

This enchanting and intimate promenade performance with music, song and dance, moves from Fiziwigs throughout the abop building, with moments of audience interaction is a richly-layered tale of magical dreams for the whole family.

Performed by Ceredigion Youth Theatre.  All those in the Junior and Senior Youth Theatre Programmes will perform in Match as part of the Autumn/Winter Show.
